Bech-Bruun and Zhong Lun Collaborate on the Acquisition of Maersk Container Industry

Bech-Bruun assists CIMC on the acquisition of Maersk Container Industry

In cooperation with Zhong Lun Law Firm, Bech-Bruun assisted China International Marine Containers Group (CIMC) in connection with its acquisition of Maersk Container Industry (MCI).

The transaction comprises CIMC’s acquisition of MCI’s international activities, including MCI’s reefer factory in Qingdao, China, as well as MCI’s Danish activities, including headquarters and testing/development activities.

The value of the transaction is approximately USD 1 billion.

CIMC is based in Shenzhen, China, and is listed on the Shenzhen and Hong Kong stock exchanges.
