Argentina: Bruchou & Funes de Rioja advised on Pampa Energia’s bond issuance (including green bonds)
Pampa Energía S.A. ("Pampa Energía") the leading, independent and integrated energy company in Argentina with participation in electricity and gas value chain, successfully completed the placement and issuance in the local market of: (i) 4.99% Series 16 corporate bonds, for US$ 55,744,200, due November 4, 2025, denominated, subscribed, integrated and payable in Dollars, in Argentina, (the "Notes Series 16"); and (ii) Series 17 corporate bonds, for a nominal value in Pesos of $5,980,316,325, due May 4, 2024, subscribed and integrated in Pesos and/ or in kind by delivering Series 8 notes, at a floating annual interest rate (the “Notes Series 17”, and together with the Notes Series 16, the “Notes”).
The issuance of the Notes Series 17 is aligned with the four main components of the ICMA’s (International Capital Market Association) Green Bond Principles following the “Guidelines for the Issuance of Social, Green and Sustainable Marketable Securities in Argentina” contained in Annex III of Chapter I of Title VI of the CNV Rules (N.T. year 2013 as modified).
