Castren & Snellman and Locke Lord collaborated to provide advice to Castren’s client, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB, Helsinki Branch (SEB), in connection with an agreement to purchase receivables from the U.S. affiliate of a customer of the bank. Castren reached out to Jeff Jefferson of Locke Lord who connected them with John Whitlock in Locke Lord’s Boston office, based on his knowledge and experience in finance and lending transactions. John and Katie Conlon (also of Boston) provided U.S. legal guidance to SEB in connection with a true sale legal opinion and related matters.
