India: IDFC FIRST Bank Limited on the proposed merger of IDFC Limited and IDFC Financial Holding Company Limited

AZB & Partners is advising IDFC FIRST Bank Limited on the proposed merger of IDFC Limited and IDFC Financial Holding Company Limited with it by way of a composite scheme of amalgamation. This is the second major merger in the banking space in the last few years after the HDFC Limited and HDFC Bank consolidation (which was also handled by the same deal team).
