Meet the WLG Staff Team - Beth Castro
In honor of women's history month (celebrated in the United Kingdom, Australia, and the US), we would like to introduce you to our small Staff Team of four, entirely powered by women.
Beth Castro, Executive Director
Beth has been with the network since 2002. Her role has changed drastically as the team morphed from one full-time position in the early 2000s to a team of four. Throughout Beth’s 19 years with World Law Group, she has attended 34 semi-annual conferences in 28 countries around the globe.
What's your favorite part about working on a small Staff Team?
Being part of a small team has its challenges, but like the network as a whole, our size allows us to be nimble and have stronger connections to each other and our shared mission.
What has been your favorite conference you've traveled to (country)?
I can't play favorites because I've loved them all for different reasons; however, I will say that I've felt most enriched by the opportunities I've had to travel to the places most unlike home.
Fun fact about yourself?
I've lived in five different states (Texas, Virginia, Illinois, Connecticut & New Jersey).
What's your favorite activity outside of work?
I love exercising, watching my kids do the activities they love, and being outside when the weather is good.
