India: AZB & Partners welcomes back Sarah Rufus as Partner – Aviation Law

We are delighted to inform that Sarah Jayne Rufus, who was a senior associate at AZB & Partners from 2006 till 2010 is rejoining AZB as a Partner in our Aviation Law Practice.

Sarah is a seasoned professional in this field and has worked with leading organisations such as InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo Airlines). She will be working out of the firm’s Mumbai office.

Sarah has 20 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking & Finance and Aviation. Sarah has advised airlines in India on a range of matters and specialises in negotiating purchase and maintenance agreements with aircraft and engine manufacturers. She has also advised on various aircraft and engine financing and leasing arrangements and structuring pre-delivery payment financing for airlines. Sarah has advised on various aviation disputes, including lease defaults, repossession of aircraft, redelivery disputes, service-related deficiencies, and OEM settlement agreements.
