France: European Commission proposes stronger rules to fight corruption in the EU and worldwide

The proposed measures aim inter alia to prevent corruption, criminalize all corruption offences under the UN Convention against Corruption, harmonize penalties across the EU and establish a common foreign and security policy sanctions regime to target serious acts of corruption worldwide.
