1. How is the political environment impacting business in or with your country?

After several years, Greece now has a politically stable environment with significant investment

opportunities. Major political and administrative reforms, along with legislative measures that h ve taken place over the last years, favor business in Greece. These reforms and measures concern, among others, digital governance, green transition, sustainable de elopment, and simplification of licensing procedures, and aim to make Greece a hub in South-Eastern Europe


2. Which countries have you previously collaborated with and do you see potential for future collaboration with on cross-border matters within the region?

We have collaborated on all aspects of cross-border matters (commercial, corporate, dispute resolution, franchise and

distribution agreements, commercial leases, industrial property rights, contracts, tourism, environment, public procure personal data, etc.) with many countries, including Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Cyprus, U.K., USA., Israel, Egypt, etc. With all these countries, there is potential for future collaboration.



3. What legislation has recently changed or is changing that a potential international client should be aware of?

Significant laws that have passed include and refer to:

  • Law 5100/2024 on global minimum tax level for multinational enterprises and large-scale domestic groups.
  • Law 4961/2022 on emerging information and communication technologies, reinforcing digital governance, and other provisions.-
  • Legislative changes in employment law (minimum wage increase, working conditions, and rights, digital work card, etc.).
  • Law 5073/2023 setting changes in short-term rentals (i.e., AIRBNB etc.).
  • Changes in the rules of the Golden Visa program.
