AZB & Partners is acting as IIT-Delhi’s legal counsel and assisting them in setting up their Abu Dhabi campus (which is the second overseas campus of IIT and first for IIT-Delhi), including its operations, negotiating of contracts/framework arrangements with Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), secondment and hiring of faculty, registration of IIT-Delhi’s programmes and curriculum, IIT-JEE exam formats, student body and management council of the campus, development of scientific feats, etc. The first academic program being offered is a Masters in Energy Transition and Sustainability which has started since January this year, where Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Modi addressed the first batch of students at the campus during his state visit to Abu Dhabi.
