AZB & Partners represented the Walt Disney Company and Star India Private Limited in securing the approval of the Competition Commission of India (CCI) for the USD 8.5 billion merger of Viacom18 and Disney’s Indian media businesses. The approval is subject to the compliance of certain voluntary modifications.
