AZB’s Competition Team Advises Bharti

AZB’s Competition Team, strategically advised and successfully represented Bharti in obtaining CCI approval for the 100% acquisition of Del Monte Foods Private Limited by Agro Tech Foods Limited from its promoters – Bharti entities and DMPL India Limited in exchange for these entities acquiring proportionate shares in Agro Tech Foods Limited, as consideration. The deal included prominent packaged food brands like “Del Monte”, “Act II”, and “Sundrop”. To understand the impact of the transaction the CCI sought detailed information from parties.
