Tell us a little about yourself.

I am from the East Coast of Canada, where I currently live with my husband and two young daughters.

I studied journalism and worked as a reporter and author before stepping into marketing roles. I appreciate any opportunity to connect with others and be creative!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in nature, cooking, and baking with my family.

You have had some experience working with a legal network from within a law firm. What value did you see the network bring to that firm?

My previous firm was a member of a legal network, and they mainly used it as a referral source to aid clients in international matters. We were a very small firm, thus this didn't happen very frequently. I look forward to working with WLG, as members seem to be highly engaged!

What about the WLG job posting piqued your interest and what are you looking forward to most in this role?

I was initially intrigued by the job posting as I saw working for a network as a step forward from what I had been doing on a firm level.

That said, as soon as I began researching WLG, I was highly impressed by the membership and the quality and quantity of content and programming the WLG team develops.

I look forward to learning more about the various firms and practice groups, working alongside this incredible team, and creating content that informs, engages, and inspires our members!

Tell us about an adventure your family has planned for this summer.

We are a military family, as my husband is in the Royal Canadian Airforce, and this year we have been assigned to move to a new base. We are looking forward to a cross-country road trip in August!

Our family will be moving from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Victoria, British Columbia—a whopping 6,200 kilometres from coast to coast!
