1. Briefly describe your practice.

I specialize in preventive legal advice, assisting clients with local and cross-border labor, and employment matters. My day-to-day activities include complex advisory work, such as hiring and compensation structures of employees and executives, incentive plans, benefits, human resources policies, occupational health and safety aspects, data privacy and social media issues, whistleblowing, discrimination, labor and employment compliance, investigations, disciplinary measures, termination of contracts, restructuring and integration projects, confidentiality, and non-compete agreements. I also assist clients in negotiations of collective bargaining agreements, due diligence, and immigration aspects.

2. You were recently named as a Co-chair of WLG's Labor & Employment Group. Do you have any specific topics that you're looking forward to discussing?

Yes, I look forward to discussing artificial intelligence aspects in the workplace, investigations, ESG initiatives, gender pay gap, EOR, outsourcing and supply chain responsibilities, terminations, and non-compete, among several other topics.

3. Could you tell us about a recent client, marketing, or other collaboration with another WLG member firm?

I have worked with several WLG member firms on different topics. The most recent one was related to a cross-border investigation.

4. What do you recommend as a must-see or must-do for visitors to Brazil?

Besides the very famous and must-see attractions, Sugar Loaf and Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, I really recommend the Iguaçu Falls in Foz do Iguaçu, state of Paraná, in the South of Brazil, and Fernando de Noronha, which is a very beautiful archipelago off the coast of the State of Pernambuco.
