1. Describe your practice:
As a Senior Associate in Taylor Wessing Germany’s Trademark, Advertising and Design practice, I advise clients on all aspects of brand protection and enforcement, design law and unfair competition law. In addition to handling a wide array of prosecution matters before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the EUIPO as well as litigation before the German courts, I have significant experience in managing global trademark and design portfolios. I have worked with clients in a wide range of industries, including fashion, e-commerce, logistics and software. My international experience, including in US legal studies, is a valuable asset in my work with clients from all over the world.

2. You recently participated in WLG | beyond borders, what was a key takeaway for you?
My key takeaways from the peer networking parts of the program are these: Even virtually, it is possible to network in an efficient and fun way and to make meaningful connections with your peers. Our discussions have also shown the diverse experiences of young lawyers and how it is really worth it from both a personal and professional perspective to connect with your peers from all over the world.

3. If someone were to visit your country, what is a must-see/must-do?
Look beyond the beer and Lederhosen! Explore big city life in Berlin or Hamburg as well as the beautiful countryside in the Black Forest and the wine regions in the western part of the country.

4. What is something you look forward to or hope to get involved in through the WLG network?
Going forward, I am hoping to continue to connect with lawyers from around the globe as well as building upon the connections I made during the WLG | beyond borders program. In addition, I hope to get involved in WLG’s Intellectual Property & Information Technology Group.
