Argentina is experiencing remarkable advancements in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within its judicial system. This article highlights some of the most notable developments, showcasing how AI is transforming the administration of justice. From assisting in the delivery of court rulings to streamlining legal processes through digital case files, AI is playing a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency and accuracy in the judiciary, shaping Argentina's judicial landscape.

a) The Supreme Court of Justice (Buenos Aires Province) formalized the automation in provincial and municipal enforcement proceedings

The process will begin with cases initiated in the relevant subjects, as appropriate, in all judicial departments of the administrative contentious jurisdiction, and in the civil and commercial jurisdiction, as a pilot test, in cases brought by the municipalities of La Plata, San Nicolás, and San Isidro.

It is important to note that this initiative was taken considering the constant and ongoing work in digital management aimed at achieving a fully digital judicial record, plus the level of development of information systems that allow addressing this path of process automation gradually, enabling greater agility in their treatment, incorporating technological advances in the field, and ensuring their security and transparency at all times.

b) Artificial Intelligence applied to Family Court for the issuance of resolutions

Following the experience of other courts at the national level, Family Court No. 3 of the city of Resistencia, capital of the province of Chaco, began to use artificial intelligence tools for the issuance of resolutions.

The implementation of artificial intelligence tools involved readjusting processes to prevent data in the integrated management and information system from being entered twice, separating non-jurisdictional (police reports and technical reports) from jurisdictional (providence, advisory opinions, and resolutions) to optimize and unify loading times into a single system.

This facilitated the daily work of the court, as it allows judges and personnel of the organization to focus on more complex issues, while delegating the drafting of resolutions and standardized documents to these tools.

c) Creation of the Innovation Committee on Artificial Intelligence

The creation of the "Innovation Committee on Artificial Intelligence" was formalized with the aim of defining proposals for the implementation of artificial intelligence as an empowering and complementary tool for the tasks entrusted to the customs service.

Its main functions will be:

- Coordinate and articulate the necessary actions among the technical, operational, and computer areas that are competent, as well as the external sector participating in foreign trade operations.

- Form multidisciplinary work groups that allow the identification and incorporation of improvements, through the application of artificial intelligence-based tools in the activities entrusted to the customs service.

In conclusion, key advancements in Argentina are enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of AI applications within the legal field. These developments are transforming judicial processes and improving accuracy.
