1. Describe your practice

I am a semi-senior associate in the Corporate Compliance, Investigations and Business Crime Department of Bruchou. My daily practice focuses on advising large multinational and local companies, governments and high net worth individuals.

My team provides counsel, among others, in the following matters:

· Advice in and development of internal investigations, e.g. of corporate fraud and in the context of FCPA or other transnational anti-bribery law enforcement actions;

· Criminal compliance counseling;

· Public policy reforms;

· Advice on the design, implementation, updating and evaluation of compliance programs (Anti-Bribery and Corruption, AML/CTF, Anti-Fraud);

· Asset recovery and white-collar crime, locally and in offshore jurisdictions.

2. You recently participated in WLG | beyond borders; what was a key takeaway for you?

As a compliance professional, it is crucial to connect with colleagues in other jurisdictions, since my practice is mainly focused in cross-border issues. WLG allowed me to connect with skilled and experienced professionals worldwide.

As a highlight, I would like to share that, in collaboration with other colleagues that I met during the pen-pal experience, we recently launched a Compliance and Investigations Practice Group to foster networking, new referrals and knowledge sharing.

3. If someone were to visit your country, what is a must-see/must-do?

Buenos Aires is a must. It combines amazing food and people, a vibrant cultural environment and an intense nightlife!

4. What is something you look forward to or hope to get involved in through the WLG network?

I would like to get involved in new initiatives and help developing the Compliance and Investigations Working Group.
