1. Tell us a little bit about your practice.
I am one of the four members of Gross Brown’s new specialized services unit named "Colab”. At Colab we merge Gross Brown’s 77 years of experience with innovation. We observe the needs of our end user – the client – to offer advice based on their experience. My practice is mainly focused on domestic and cross-border financing, international capital markets, and M&A, with an added emphasis on tax efficiency.

2. You've attended a few of our recent practice group meetings. What are you most looking forward to getting out of the practice groups?
I find practice group meetings are very rich in terms of the professional and personal background of the attendees. Therefore, I am always looking forward to learning more about them and their jurisdictions. For example, learning about the business culture and tax framework of a country allows me to have a better idea about the kind of return our clients may expect when doing business locally, as well as the types of risks they may be willing to take. Inversely, it also allows me to find possible matches for our domestic clients that are looking to do business abroad.

3. What is something you enjoy doing in your free time?
I am a very big fan of pop culture. I enjoy movies, series, and songs, from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off to Succession (more recently).

4. Have you had any recent client, marketing or other collaboration with a WLG member firm(s)?
Recently, a client engaged us to coordinate legal opinions regarding offshore securities offering in certain Latin American jurisdictions. We handled this work with all the member firms in those jurisdictions.
