Champing Responsible Business and keeping 'good things' at the heart of everything they do, international law firm Gowling WLG has set up a giving initiative and fundraising platform, Gowling WLG Gives. Gives raises funds for charities and community groups through a series of engaging fundraisers, local events, and heartwarming campaigns.
Through Gives, Gowling WLG people have been undertaking a variety of events including sports matches, 'wear your football shirt to work-day' and more recently a Leadership Charity Showdown where partners and members of the leadership team agreed to take on challenges. Challenges ranged from a school sports day to a group of partners carrying out challenges set by their team whilst dressed as chickens!
All funds raised will be donated on pay out days to charities and community groups which are nominated by Gowling WLG people.
Through a partner-funded charitable trust, Gowling WLG has committed to matching the fundraising efforts of their UK-based employees. This means for every pound raised, up to £500 per employee and up to £4,000 per team, event, or charity, the trust will contribute the same amount, multiplying the impact of their collective efforts and ensuring that UK registered charities benefit from Gowling WLG Gives.

Through matched funding, fundraising efforts and dedication to community causes, they continue to make a difference as a firm for their communities nationwide.
