WLG | impact '24: Greenberg Glusker Gives Back: Preparing 450 Meals for Families in Need at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles

On Thursday, September 5, in honor of International Day of Charity, over 40 Greenberg Glusker team members came together to support Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA) and give back to the community. As part of this volunteer event, we helped prepare meals for individuals facing food insecurity by chopping vegetables, making potato gnocchi, baking cookies, and packaging meals. Thanks to our corporate sponsorship, we contributed to providing 450 meals to those in need. The event was held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at OBKLA, a non-denominational community kitchen just 10 minutes from our office.

OBKLA plays a vital role in supporting Los Angeles residents, having prepared 70,000 meals with the help of over 13,000 volunteers in the past year. Our team was proud to contribute to this incredible cause, working together to ensure more families in need had access to nutritious meals.

We were also excited to see so many of our team members join us in this meaningful effort.
