Why did you decide to become a lawyer?

I decided to become a lawyer because I believe that life in society can be improved by laws, and that the role of lawyers is ensuring that the law applies to everyone.

As a woman, what do you think are the keys to success?

In my opinion, the keys to success are perseverance and focus. These are female qualities in the sense that women are successful "multitaskers" - mothers, wives, lawyers - which requires focus and discipline

How has your legal education and experience served you in other aspects of your life that bring you joy?

My legal education and my experience as a lawyer are useful in teaching my children to fight for their rights, and how to negotiate with their mates. When they grow older, I intend to teach them how to be better citizens as well.

Do you have any networking advice for women lawyers?

We know networking demands time and perseverance, and that women are much more demanded in terms of home and children. But networking is a valuable asset for your career and for your personal development; try not to give up even in the busiest phases.
