Key Contact Partners Forum

Key Contact Partners are the main relationship managers between the network and its firms. KCPs are highly engaged in educating their firm on the opportunities and benefits of WLG membership, managing network participation by their colleagues, identifying and acting on opportunities for collaboration, and ensuring their firm provides top-quality service to other members and clients. Other key activities include building and fostering relationships; ensuring that legal updates, thought leadership, and firm news are uploaded to the website; attending semi-annual summits and other virtual activities; seeking opportunities to connect firm lawyers and professionals with other member firms at industry events and during travel; and responding to inquiries promptly.

According to the Mexican legal framework, companies are not obliged to introduce a whistleblowing system but is instead left to their discretion as part of the implementation of an adequate “due control” or “organization, management and risk prevention model” (in the criminal sphere) and an “integrity policy” (in the administrative sphere).

In Argentina, there is no legal obligation for companies to establish a whistleblowing system. However, the CCLA of 2018 (N° 27.401, section 23, IV) states companies can include a whistleblowing protection system within their compliance and integrity programs.
