2. You recently participated in WLG | beyond borders; what was a key takeaway for you?
It was a very useful program for me, personally. I was able to network with fellow lawyers and practitioners from various countries around the world, some of whom I would not have had the opportunity to meet and network in my daily and ordinary work life. It was refreshing to greet and meet fellow professionals to talk about work and non-work experiences alike.
If someone were to visit your country, what is a must-see/must-do?
Malaysia a tourist-centric country, with a large influx of tourists from Europe and Americas. In general, some of the more famous tourist spots will include the following:
i) Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur
ii) Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur
iii) KL Tower, Kuala Lumpur
iv) Melaka
v) Georgetown
vi) Redang Island
vii) Perhentian Island
viii) Langkawi Island
ix) Kinabalu National Park + hiking Mount Kinabalu
x) Cameron Highlands
3. What is something you look forward to or hope to get involved in through the WLG network?
I look forward to more WLG programs of similar nature to connect and network with more fellow colleagues in the IP practice around the world, as well as attend more talks and webinars that would be helpful.
