France: Soccer and EU competition law: The “Super-League” judgment

In three judgments issued in December 2023, the Court of Justice of the European Union held that sport governing bodies - and their regulations - must comply with EU competition law. This article discusses the most notable of the three judgments, i.e., the so-called “Super League” judgment.
